The examples below highlight a selection of project outcomes that demonstrate my approach: clear, credible storytelling designed to build trust, shape reputation and drive engagement.

SAFE Standard of Care Report

Omnicell's "SAFE: Banishing Medication Errors in Secondary Care" (Safeguarding Against Frontline Errors) report highlighted the critical role of automated technology in reducing medication errors and improving patient safety. Coupled with an effective PR and Public Affairs campaign, it led to the release of £78m of Govenment funding for hospital medication administration systems.

Hub and Spoke Unpacked

The guide "Hub and Spoke Unpacked" for Centred Solutions detailed three new business models for hub-and-spoke dispensing which had been unlocked by new legislation. The document and models helped define industry standards for pharmacy hub and spoke across the UK and positioned Centred Solutions as thought leaders in their field.

Case Study - Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

One of many customer case studies developed for Omnicell and Centred Solutions. The case studies used both qualitative and quantative data to demonstrate the adoption and success of complex technology within healthcare settings. The production of case studies involved capturing data on site and interviewing users before compiling and writing up findings or creating a video case study.

High-Tech Homecare White Paper

Developed for homecare provider, HealthNet, the report explores how High-Tech Homecare Medicines Services could become a central pillar of NHS neighbourhood healthcare, helping to deliver more specialist care closer to home. This project involved researching policy landscape, developing narrative, interviewing stakeholders, shaping recommendations to produce a publication to influence decision-makers.

The Urgent Need for Hub and Spoke in Community Pharmacy

A public affairs campaign ran on behalf of Centred Solutions, HUBRx and PillTime, raising awareness of the urgent need for legislation changes to hub and spoke which had been put on indefinite hold by the Government. The campaign involved round table events and MP drop-ins at Westminster and questions asked of the Government in the House of Commons and House of Lords. The campaign led to the implementation of the legislation.

Pharmacy in Focus and Scottish Pharmacist

Editor of Scottish Pharmacist and Pharmacy in Focus magazines - the key pharmacy trade titles in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Lead the editorial direction and content for both magazines with an emphasis on the issues that matter most to pharmacy professionals. This includes a strong focus on human interest features, innovation stories, sector insight and the people shaping the future of community pharmacy.
